KRAVNET HIJACK 2025 – EVENT INFORMATION

We look forward to welcoming you to our 2025 Krav Maga Network- Hijack Event. This full-day event consists of a short lecture and various training sessions in and outside of the aircraft. A buffet lunch is provided, along with bottled water and event T-shirts are available to pre-order for collection at the event. This is a full day of training, so come prepared to get the most out of it by reading all the information below carefully.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Our annual international ‘Krav Maga Air Safety & Disruptive Passenger’ event is the only one of its kind within the civilian Krav Maga community. Led by Nick Maison who trained alongside heads of security from various well-known international airlines, on an 8-day Civil Aviation Authority course, and Jose Silva ex-Combat Search & Rescue team member from the Portuguese Air Force and an active close protection officer.

This full-day workshop takes you inside a decommissioned aircraft fitted with special effects, functioning electrical and media systems, to experience what it’s like to be inside a hijack situation. You will understand how to avoid being the focus of attention, which could lead to you being singled out for hostage negotiation, interrogation, or worse.

We also look at ways to diffuse simple arguments with other passengers who may be under stress from fear of flying, under the influence of drugs, or too much alcohol.

In some cases, you will be able to assist the aircrew with 3rd party defences.

You will get the chance to experience using your Krav Maga training and techniques for self-defence in a confined space, with restrictions such as your seatbelt, reduced legroom and small aisles to negotiate.

MERCHANDISE

Hijack event T-shirts can be purchased in advance for collection on the day. We will send full information regarding this in your booking confirmation. The last date for ordering t-shirts is the 1st of September, to allow time for printing.

First Class: £99.99 (early booking) until 31st July 2025.

Business Class: £115.00 (regular booking) until 31st August 2025.

Economy Class: £130.00 (late booking) until midnight 19th September 2025. 

Due to the nature of this event, seats are limited. We recommend that participants book early.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Please book this event using an email address that you monitor on a regular basis.
  • You will be sent a booking confirmation shortly after completing the online payment.
  • Check your Junk /SPAM or Promotions folders for your booking confirmation, if you don’t receive it in your regular email inbox within 48 hours of booking.
  • You MUST bring your booking confirmation and photo ID for check-in at 0900 on the day of the event. (driving licence or Passport for overseas participants).
  • Please read your booking confirmation carefully and adhere to the information regarding clothing and arrival time for this event. Once the departure gate closes you will not be able to check in or board the aircraft. Instructors and the admin team will not be contactable once the event started.
  • We will not refund late arrivals or early departures for any part(s) of the event.
  • We are unable to give refunds or transfer you to another event after midday on the 12th of September 2025, due to the high cost of organising this event. If you are unable to attend this event at short notice, please try to re-sell your ticket and inform us ASAP about the change of name(s), so we can update the security supervisor.
  • Passengers are not permitted to carry phones, recording devices, or electronic items during the flight. You will be searched prior to boarding.
  • We recommend that you have adequate personal accident insurance including indemnity in case of damage to the aircraft that you are responsible for.
